Build a Cherry Shaker End Table- November 14 and 15- Intermediate Level

Description

The build a shaker table class is a great opportunity for an intermediate woodworker to create an heirloom quality holiday gift, or to create a classic piece of furniture for your home. The class takes place over two days in my fully equipped woodworking shop.

All the cherry lumber parts will be supplied in their rough cut dimensions.

Skills that we will practice include: Laying out joints, jointing and glueing the top, cutting mortises and tenons, and hand planing the finished surfaces. Layout tools, hand planes, saws and chisels will be supplied.

This two day intensive class is an opportunity to upgrade and fine tune your woodworking skills, and you will walk away with a beautiful, elegant and classic end table with the integrity to last for generations.

Dates and Time: Saturday Nov. 14th, 9-5 and Sunday Nov. 15th 9-4.

Coffee and muffins will be provided, but please bring a lunch.
